Service policy
Ownership, Cancellation, and Transfer Policy
What the client owns, what Baumbach Solutions retains, and how cancellation, delays, and transfer requests are handled.
Last updated July 10, 2026. These policies apply to local and commercial Baumbach Solutions work. Government, municipal, public-sector, procurement, RFP, and compliance-heavy projects are scoped and priced separately.
What the client owns
- Business name
- Provided logo, content, photos, and videos
- Domain if registered in the client's name
- Customer data, leads, form submissions, and brand assets
What Baumbach Solutions retains
- Hosting environment and server setup
- Internal workflows and development process
- Reusable code, templates, tools, and systems not built only for that client
- Reusable automation logic and source systems not transferred in writing
Cancellation
Monthly service may be canceled with 30 days' written notice unless a separate commitment applies.
Cancellation does not erase unpaid balances, completed work, payment plans, project balances, or third-party costs already incurred. Deposits and completed work are non-refundable once work has begun.
Delays and restart fees
Client delays over 30 days may result in project pause, monthly billing start, movement to the next production slot, or a restart fee.
Any restart fee is based on the scope, how long the project has been paused, and how much planning or rebuild work is needed before production can continue.
Transfer or export
Transfer or export may be available when technically practical. Migration and export work is billed separately, and unpaid balances must be paid before transfer.
