Privacy & data use

What happens to the information you share.

Baumbach Solutions collects only the information needed to review a request, deliver a service, complete a purchase, or follow up with you. This page explains the current website practices in plain English.

Last updated July 10, 2026

The short version

If you send a form, use the automated chat, apply for a role, purchase a managed domain, or otherwise contact Baumbach Solutions, the details you provide are used to handle that request. Some trusted service providers process those details so the website, email, project records, chat, payments, and domain registration can work.

01

Information you choose to send

Depending on the path you use, that may include:

  • Your name, business name, email, phone number, and preferred reply method.
  • Project goals, current website, service area, timing, budget range, content, features, and other details you include in a project request or kickoff form.
  • Website, Facebook, Google Business Profile, or other public links submitted for an Online Presence Check.
  • Messages shared with the automated website chat and any contact details you submit for follow-up.
  • Application details submitted through the hiring form, or support and referral details submitted through client forms.
  • Legal registrant name, email, phone, and mailing address needed to purchase and register a managed domain.

Do not send passwords, private access keys, payment-card numbers, health records, or other sensitive information through a general website form or chat.

02

Technical and visit context

Project and diagnostic forms may record the page you came from, the current page, referral or campaign parameters, and browser user-agent information. That context helps Mike understand which request path was used, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot form problems. Hosting and security providers may also create standard server logs, which can include an IP address, request time, browser details, and requested URL.

The website does not install advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral trackers. When aggregate measurement is enabled, Plausible records public page paths and a small set of conversion-event categories, such as a form start, a successful submission, a contact-link click, or a chat handoff. Analytics events do not include form answers, names, email addresses, phone numbers, chat messages, request IDs, or private page URLs.

The site uses browser storage to retain chat state and prevent duplicate conversion counts. A short-lived, first-party functional cookie may mark a successfully submitted project request for that same purpose. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

03

How the information is used

  • Review and respond to project, support, hiring, referral, and diagnostic requests.
  • Create organized intake, project, and follow-up records.
  • Prepare recommendations, estimates, kickoff details, and requested services.
  • Send confirmations and direct follow-up related to your request.
  • Prevent spam, protect the website, and diagnose delivery or form failures.
  • Understand aggregate public-page use and which contact paths are working.
  • Process a payment and register, renew, or support a domain you purchase.
  • Meet recordkeeping, tax, legal, or contractual obligations when they apply.

Baumbach Solutions does not sell or rent personal information and does not use a submitted project request to place you into an unrelated marketing list.

04

Automated chat and AI processing

The Mia website chat is an automated helper, not a human employee. Messages may be sent to OpenAI for safety review and to generate a response. If you submit contact details, the conversation and lead details may be emailed to Mike and stored in the Baumbach Solutions project record system so he can follow up.

Do not use the chat for secrets or highly sensitive information. Automated answers can be incomplete or mistaken; Mike makes the final project recommendation and can clarify anything important before work begins.

05

Service providers that help the site work

Current website workflows may use:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure services that deliver and protect the site.
  • Cloudflare for DNS, security, and managed domain-registration workflows.
  • Stripe to host checkout, process payments, and create payment records.
  • Sanity to store authorized project, content, intake, and chat follow-up records.
  • OpenAI to operate and moderate the automated website chat.
  • Plausible, when enabled, for cookie-free aggregate website measurement.
  • Email delivery services to send submissions, confirmations, and direct replies.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Information may also be shared when required by law, to protect the website or a person from harm, or as part of a legitimate business transfer. It is not shared with unrelated businesses for their own advertising.

06

Payments and domain registration

Stripe collects payment-card details in its hosted checkout. Baumbach Solutions receives payment status and transaction details, not your full card number. Registrant contact details for a managed domain are passed through the checkout workflow and then provided to Cloudflare as needed to register and manage the domain in the business or owner's name.

07

Retention and protection

Information is kept for as long as it is reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain the client or project record, provide support, document a transaction, meet legal or tax duties, or resolve a dispute. Different records may need different retention periods.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no website, email, or online storage system can promise absolute security. Access is limited to Mike and the service providers or authorized support needed to operate the relevant workflow.

08

Your choices

You can ask what personal information Baumbach Solutions has about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion. Some records may need to be kept for active work, payment, tax, security, or legal reasons. You can also ask Mike to stop an optional follow-up at any time.

This site is intended for business customers and job applicants, not children. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices.

09

Questions or data requests

Email Mike at mia@baumbachsolutions.org with the subject “Privacy request.” Include enough context to identify the request, but do not send private account credentials by email.

This notice describes the website's current practices. It may be updated when the services or workflows change. Signed project agreements and provider terms still govern the services they specifically cover.
